New professor: Engineering Geology

The Division of Geosciences and Geography welcomes Univ.-Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Florian Amann who assumes his role as professor of the Chair of Engineering Geology and Hydrogeology on the 1st of October 2017.
We congratulate him on the appointment and wish him a warm welcome!

Professor Amann's research interests include areas such as instable rock slopes, tunnel construction, deep geothermics, and geomechanics.
