Viewing and Recording Exam Registrations

Modular Exam Registrations must be first recorded in the ZPA exam administration system. After they are recorded, you will be able to view them in CAMPUS Office under „Angemeldete Prüfungen“.

Registrations through the VZPA are immediately visible in CAMPUS Office under „Angemeldete Prüfungen“. The same is true for registrations in person in the ZPA.

Regardless of the time of exam registration you have, the latest you will be able to view your exam registrations is May 18, 2018, in CAMPUS Office under "Zentrales Prüfungsamt" and then "Angemeldete Prüfungen" or in your student account print out.

Visibility of Exam Registrations

  1. Transfer of modular registrations from CAMPUS into the ZPA system in summer semester 2018: May 29 to June 15, 2018

Information on Non-Admission

In some subjects, there are some prerequisites for taking an exam. These are listed in the module catalogue of your exam regulation. If you do not fulfill these prerequisites, your examiner cannot admit you to the exam. This is called non-admission. You will be informed by your examiner of possible non-admissions in a timely fashion.

Registration Correction Period

If you notice incorrect or missing entries when checking your registrations for exams, please note that there are differing deadlines and contact persons depending on the case:

  1. Missing exam registration due to a missed registration deadline:
If you do not register for an exam, you do not have a right to take the exam.
  2. Missing exam registration despite completed registration:
Please fill out the form registration difficulties (de) and turn it into your case worker or send it to the ZPA within the deadline.

Student Account Statement

Similar to an account statement from a bank, all RWTH Aachen students have a student account statement. The statement depicts the current status of your studies, color coding all of your academic performances since enrollment as well as examination registrations, withdraws, and non-admissions.

No Offical Certificate

the student account statement solely serves as an overview and does not replace any official certificates for your academic performance. Please note that the account statement does not have an effect on your duty to cooperate as governed in the RWTH Aachen enrollment regulation.

Common Questions About the Student Account Statement

What are the advantages of the student account statement?

The student account statement displays the current status of a student's studies at the time it is issued and is archived, so that you can view and access it at any time. The account statement color codes all exam registrations, withdrawals, and non-admissions, so that you can recognize these at a glance.

Where can I find the student account statement?

All student account statements are in CAMPUS Office under menu option "Kontoauszüge" in the section "Zentrales Prüfungsamt".

How often is the student account statement generated?

The student account statement is generated once a month. In order to get an overview of the current entries in your student account,  you can generate an up-to-date statement at any time. This statement will not be stored in the Virtual Central Examination Office.

When is my student account statement generated?

The student account statements are successively and regularly generated:

Successively: The student account statements are not generated all at once, but rather over the course of the month.

Regularly: Your student account statement will always be generated on the same calendar day. This means if your student account statement was generated for the first time on March 5, all of your next account statements will be generated on the fifth of each month.

How do I find out that a student account statement has been generated for me?

You will be informed via email that your account statement can be viewed in CAMPUS Office as soon as your student account statement is generated.

Which email address is the notification sent to?

The notification autmoatically goes to your RWTH Aachen address. If you would like to change your address, please use the Selfservice Function.

Do I need to continue checking my exam registrations in the Zentrales Prüfungsamt section?

Yes, you must continue to check your exam registrations. The student account statement solely serves as an overview and provides a summarized status of your academic performance, registrations, withdrawals, and non-admissions since you enrolled to a certain cutoff date.

Can I use the student account statement as offical documentation of my achieved academic performance?

No, the student account statement does not replace any official documentation. You can either printout out transcripts yourself in CAMPUS Office in the Zentrales Prüfungsamt section or your respective case worker in the Central Examination Office will issue you a transcript during office hours.

Which information is the student account statement generated from?

The student account statement is generated from the information gathered in the Central Examination Office.

What do I do if my student account statement contains an error?

Please contact your respective case worker in the ZPA.
