Professor Littke was awarded the Gustav-Steinmann medal

As part of GeoBerlin 2023, the DGGV (Deutsche Geologische Gesellschaft – Geologische Vereinigung) awarded Professor Ralf Littke the Gustav Steinmann Medal.

The Gustav Steinmann Medal honors the special promotion of general and regional geosciences. Professor Littke received the research award in particular for his outstanding achievements in basic research on the organic petrology of coals.
