Awarding Georg Stauch extraordinary professorship

On January 18 2023, the Dean’s Office of Faculty 5 awarded Dr. Georg Stauch the title of “außerplanmäßiger Professor“ (extraordinary professor).Dr. Stauch first came to RWTH Aachen University in 2002 to pursue his doctorate. Since then, he has not only drawn attention for his very impressive research but also for the large amount of effort he has put into his courses and the supervision of final theses. These efforts are also recognised by his students, among whom he is exceptionally appreciated for his teachings.We wholeheartedly congratulate Dr. Stauch on his well-deserved title and thank him for his years-long dedication.
