The Dean's Office is the central management and administration unit for the Faculty of Georesources and Materials Engineering.

It is responsible for the structural further development of the faculty. The Dean's Office also handles doctoral and lecture qualification affairs, finances, and human resources for the faculty.

One of the jobs of the Dean's office is to issue the development plan of the faculty. Other tasks include the evaluation of the lectures and courses, making sure that the study range is complete and that the standard of teaching is upheld. The Dean's office consists of the dean and the vice deans.
